Mission Pediatrics Conducts Screening for Splendid Care Montessori Pupils
Mission Pediatrics on 11th March 2026, welcomed pupils from Splendid Care Montessori to our facility for a comprehensive developmental and health screening aimed at supporting early identification and intervention for children who may need additional learning or developmental support.
The screening exercise brought together a multidisciplinary team of specialists, reflecting Mission Pediatrics’ commitment to providing holistic care for children. The team included Special Needs Educators, Speech and Language Therapists, Behaviour Specialists, and Optometrists, all working collaboratively to assess different aspects of the children’s development and well-being.
Supporting Early Identification
Early screening plays a critical role in identifying challenges that may affect a child’s learning, communication, behaviour, and vision. By assessing pupils at an early stage, educators and parents are better equipped with the information needed to support the child’s growth and academic success.
During the session, the specialists conducted assessments focusing on areas such as:
- Communication and speech development
- Behavioural and social interaction
- Learning and developmental milestones
- Vision screening
The exercise provided valuable insights that will help guide parents and teachers in understanding the unique needs of each child and the appropriate support strategies where necessary.
Strengthening School–Healthcare Partnerships
This initiative forms part of Mission Pediatrics’ ongoing collaboration with schools to promote inclusive education, early intervention, and improved learning outcomes for children.
By bringing pupils to our facility, schools gain access to a range of professional expertise in one setting, ensuring that children receive a well-rounded developmental evaluation.
A Commitment to Child Development
At Mission Pediatrics, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through school partnerships, multidisciplinary screenings, and specialized interventions, we continue to support children, parents, and educators in creating environments where every learner can thrive.
We extend our appreciation to the leadership of Splendid Care Montessori.
