Introducing Calm & Connected: A Practical Parenting Program for Families Navigating ADHD
Mission Pediatrics is excited to introduce Calm & Connected, a new parenting support program designed to help families raising children with ADHD and executive function challenges. This initiative is being delivered in collaboration with Abundant Life Family Coaching and aims to provide parents with practical tools, research-based strategies, and guidance to bring calm, confidence, and stronger connection back into the home.
Understanding the Challenge
Parenting a child with ADHD can sometimes feel overwhelming. Many parents deeply love their children but struggle with daily challenges such as emotional outbursts, difficulty following instructions, struggles in school, and frustration around behavior and motivation.
Often, traditional approaches like rewards and punishments do not produce the desired results, leaving parents unsure about what to do next. The Calm & Connected workshop was designed to help parents better understand these challenges and learn strategies that truly work.
